Heiliger Berg bei Křižanov
This Baroque church from the years 1728–1730 was built
at the expenses of the count Josef Paar on the site of an
older building and it has a medieval core. A Gothic nave and
a front tower with statues of St. Peter and Paul were added
to the original Gothic end.
The building belonged to the castle grounds. Its original
function is unknown. There are considerations that it might
have served as a parsonage. Today‘s appearance reveals
construction work from the late 18th century when the
object already functioned as an inn.
The town hall was built in the early 14th century. The
object got a turret during reconstruction in the 16th
century. The last major reconstruction took place in the
90s of the 20th century.
Das Rathaus wurde in der ersten Hälfte des
14. Jahrhunderts erbaut. Im 16. Jh. bekam das Haus
während einem Umbau einen Turm. Der letzte größere
Umbau verlief in 90er Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts.
The original house belonged to a magistrate.
In the years 1528–1529 it was rebuilt as a town hall
in the Renaissance style. On the ground floor there
is a vaulted archway with frescos. In May 1945,
the town hall became the scene of anti-fascist uprising.
The villa of a priest, poet, novelist, journalist and translator Jakub Deml
is one of the early works of the Brno architect Bohuslav Fuchs. He created
the project of the building in 1921, when he was only twenty-six years old.
The villa is accessible by appointment.
Die Villa von Priester, Dichter, Schriftsteller, Journalisten und Übersetzer
Jakub Deml ist eine der frühesten Arbeiten von Brünner Architekten Bohuslav
Fuchs. Das Bauprojekt arbeitete er im Jahr 1921 aus, wann er erst 26 Jahre
alt war. Die Villa ist Abrede gemäß zugänglich.
Das ursprüngliche Richterhaus wurde in Jahren 1528
–1529 zu einem Rathaus im Renaissancestil
umgebaut. Im Bauerdgeschoss gibt es ein gewölbtes
Maßhaus mit einer Freskomalerei. Im Mai 1945
wurde das Rathaus zum Schauplatz von einem
antifaschistischen Widerstand.
Der Bau gehörte zum Schlossareal. Seine erste Funktion ist
nicht bekannt, es gibt aber Erwägungen,
dass er als Pfarrhaus dienen konnte.
Heutiges Aussehen ließ sich Umbauten
von Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts anmerken,
wann er schon als Gasthaus diente.
Die Barockkirche aus den Jahren 1728–1730 wurde auf
Kosten des Grafens Josef Paar als Umbau eines älteren
Gebäudes gebaut. Zum ursprünglichen gotischen Grund
wurden ein Barockkirchenschiff und ein Stirnturm, der mit
Statuen von St. Peter und St. Paul dekoriert wurde, zugebaut.
The church was built at the beginning of the 2nd half of the
13th century. Inside the church there is a set of Renaissance
gravestones and there are also several artworks reminding
St. Zdislava – a native of Křižanov.
Die Kirche wurde in der 2. Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts gebaut.
In 1678 wurde sie barock umgebaut. Im Kircheninterieur
befinden sich Renaissancegrabsteine und
man erinnert hier mit einigen Kunstwerken
an hiesige Landsmännin St. Zdislava.
The Holy Mountain is a natural place of pilgrimage.
It is associated with the life of St. Zdislava, who was born
in Křižanov. In her honor there are pilgrimage Masses
celebrated several times a year with the participation
of many believers from all around. It is said that St. Zdislava
made pilgrimages on this hill and prayed there. According
to recent archaeological excavations it might have been
a place of pagan rituals.
Heiliger Berg ist ein Naturwallfahrtsort. Er wird mit
dem Leben von St. Zdislava verbunden, die in Křižanov
geboren ist. Ihr zu Ehren werden hier einigemal im Jahr
Wallfahrtmessen gedient, unter Teilnahme von vielen
Gläubigen aus der ganzen Umgebung. Man erzählt, dass
St. Zdislava auf diesen Berg wanderte und hier betete. Laut
letzten archäologischen Ausgrabungen konnte hier eine
Stelle für Heidenrituale sein.
